Mystical Melodies and Musings: Medieval and Modern
Come share the spiritual final hour of Shabbat with the Beth Israel Center community. Over seudat shlishit (the third Shabbat meal), beginning at 8:00pm, Rabbi Sami Barth will lead a discussion of poetry, songs and ideas about perfecting the world so that Elijah will be able to arrive. Tradition has it that Elijah will not arrive on Shabbat -- so as not to cause inconvenience -- but may well arrive just after havdallah!
