StartingBlock opened as Madison's entrepreneurial hub in June 2018 with the mission to create meaningful intersections that cultivate entrepreneurs, grow successful companies and drive innovation, and build an entrepreneurial community that gives back. In furtherance of its mission, StartingBlock provides and supports educational, training, and mentoring that fosters the creation and growth of start-up companies. Programming focuses on issues facing startup companies, social entrepreneurism, helping women, people of color, and students to become successful entrepreneurs, and assisting city and state governmental agencies reach their economic development objectives. StartingBlock also provides early to mid-stage startups with a support structure and community, including the scalable, flexible workspace needed for startup development.
This is not a StartingBlock recruitment event. It's a chance for young professionals to have fun together. Come join us!
